Amanda grew up and lived in Eugene until she graduated from high school. After graduation, she moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver where she earned a bachelor's degree. Amanda decided to stay in Denver after college and started working as an educator at a local rape crisis center. It was there that she discovered her passion for education and violence prevention.
Amanda recently moved back to Oregon to be closer to her family. Her job search ultimately lead her to YMO, where she will be training folks from all across the state. When she isn't busy working, Amanda enjoys hiking with her puppy, traveling anywhere and everywhere, cooking, and reading.
