YMO’s site in the Mid-Valley Behavioral Care Network (MVBCN) specializes in youth/young adult support via Wraparound teams and Tier II certified Wraparound support partners. The MVBCN program utilizes the Achieve My Plan (AMP) process to prepare youth/young adults for their team meetings and to uphold a fully youth/young adult driven process. We support youth/young adults; help them to identify and build their natural supports, establish and pursue their life assignments, and encourage full participation in the Wraparound process.
The wraparound planning process is based on the collaborative work of the youth/young adult, their family members, natural supports and service providers to create personal and family plans focused on community-based solutions. Our wraparound youth partners help empower young adults to make educated decisions, effectively lead their wraparound team meetings, and advocate for other young adults. Youth partners also help young people establish and work towards reaching their life goals, provide one-on-one peer support and above all they aim to amplify youth/young adult voices across multiple youth serving systems.

“ Peer support is not so much a professional, it’s more like talking to a friend. Sometimes I need that one on one support.”
- Suzie, Mid-Valley BCN
“ Most young people spend their teenage years without peer support, I’ve gotten the incredible time to engage in peer support through Youth M.O.V.E. and it has helped to change my life. They help you practice self- efficacy and advocate for what you want and what you need in your life. The peer support providers are such great role models and caring people. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the peer support provided to me from multiple Youth M.O.V.E. staff and volunteers.”
