The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) currently provides health care coverage to more than 600,000 low-income Oregonians through programs administered by the Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP).

The Search Institute’s “40 Developmental Assets” are essential to Youth M.O.V.E. Oregon programs and services. The 40 Developmental Assets provide young people with a clear vision of the future and the necessary building blocks to create a successful transition to adulthood.


The Hart’s Ladder of Youth Voice  

Youth/young adults have been left out of formal decision-making positions for most of history.  Today, more and more youth/young adults are taking on important positions at the policy planning and decision making tables; amplifying youth voice and creating change. The Ladder of Youth voice was established to encourage this transition towards youth-led social change and examine how and why young people get involved in community projects.


Building Bridges Initiative  

Building Bridges is a national initiative, that is working to establish and promote policies and practices that ensure strong collaboration between families, youth/young adults, communities, residential treatment/service providers, advocates, and policy makers in an effort to maintain comprehensive mental health services dedicated to improving the lives of young people and their families.

The Mental Health Youth Bill of Rights created by Youth MOVE Oregon in collaboration with youth/young adults and our fellow youth-serving organizations.

Pathways to Positive Futures

The RTC for Pathways to Positive Futures aims to improve the lives of youth/young adults with issues relating to mental health through rigorous research, effective training, and dissemination of information. Their work is guided by the perspectives of young people and their families, and is based on a positive developmental framework.
